And so it begins...

Mom and I, circa 1974. What kind of crazy person fingerpaints with a 2-year-old (while wearing white, mind you) for no particular reason? My mom. She was a stay-at-home mom in those days and although I do not specifically remember this art project, I remember doing lots of fun artsy things with her. Making dough ornaments at Christmas, writing books, cutting and gluing, stringing beads and sequins. I still love all of that and I am making an attempt to instill that love for creating in my kids as well (so far, so good!). Thanks, Mom.
